Describe the essence of what you do in your job:

I am a PT dedicated to helping people heal and recover by providing the utmost care and compassion. I am able to provide relief from pain and discomfort, and I teach patients ways to improve quality of life.

What are some of your interests, outside of work?

I enjoy being a mother to my 2 young sons. As a family, we frequent Disneyland a lot. We go to museums, and I delight in teaching my sons about the wonders of the world. We frequent parks and zoos. I also enjoy eating out at a lot of different restaurants, trying out every cuisine from every part of the world. I value spending time with a big extended family and enjoy going to family parties frequently.

What are some things you believe in? What is your favorite quote or words of wisdom?

“The pursuit of happiness is a ridiculous phrase; if you pursue happiness you will never find it.” C.P.Snow

What do you like most about working at this organization?

I like working at Fit N Free PT because I am able to work in a friendly environment where I know people genuinely care about each patient that walks in the door.

What do you like most about working with patients?

I like being able to witness in patients their ability to heal and be resilient. I like seeing them achieve goals with my guidance and help.

Why did you choose to become a Physical Therapist?

I chose to be a PT because it is one of the most noble professions I know. By being a PT, I get the huge job satisfaction in being able to help people heal. I get to witness the powerful potential of a human being to recover and bounce back from an injury.

What do you think patients like most about your organization?

Patients say they like the fact that I show genuine care and compassion when I treat them here at Fit N Free. They say I am able to connect well with what they are feeling, not just with what they are saying. They also like the fact that I do spend the time in teaching them ways to avoid worsening or recurrence of a problem.

“I used to feel like I was stepping on cactus due to my diabetic neuropath... but now, I am able to walk with less pain in each step. I can now bravely pursue a trip with my wife I’ve been putting off. Thank you, Fit n Free.” - F. Citro, West Covina
