RHEEA RUBIO, PT, DPT


Dr. Rubio is a caring and attentive physical therapist committed to giving top-quality care to patients in the West Covina area. After receiving her bachelor’s degree at UCLA, Dr. Rubio received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the prestigious Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California.  Learn more >>>

JENNY HUANG, PT, DPT


Dr. Huang has over 20 years of clinical experience. She obtained her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University, Masters in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, as well as  Masters degree in Gerontology from University of Southern California.  She has a diverse experience and has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, nursing homes, home health, and outpatient orthopedics.  She proudly states "I became a PT because I wanted to help people recover from their conditions, and  it makes me happy when I see them improve or  return to their prior level of function."  She is certified in Mackenzie approach for treating low back pain and has had great success in helping patients achieve their goals. 

BYRON HUEY, PT, DPT


Dr. Huey graduated from Cal State Northridge earning his Doctorate degree in physical therapy. He is a professional cellist, and has his Masters in Music from Northwestern University and Bachelors of Music from USC. He states,"After leaving the field of music, I made a career change into physical therapy. I currently enjoy being involved with helping patients in their healing process and getting to know them personally." 

GENE DIAZ, PTA


Mr. Diaz graduated from Cal State Fullerton with  his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, and his PT Assistant degree from Concorde Career College. He has been quite successful in helping return our injured patients to their sports or field of work.  He states  "I have been a physical therapist assistant since 2018. I first became interested in physical therapy after spraining my ankle multiple times as a kid playing basketball. My goals are to teach and help individuals feel better and enjoy life!"

ELIZABETH SOLIS, PTA


Our PTA Liz earned her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly Pomona and her PT Assistant degree from Concorde Career College. She has been successfully helping our patients recover at Fit N Free since 2013. She enjoys helping our diverse patient population return to their prior level of function. She is warm and compassionate with patients and can also speak Spanish very fluently.

ASHLEY STRID PEREZ, PTA


Ashley obtained her PT assistant education from Concorde Career College. She has been successful in establishing great rapport with patients and meeting their rehab goals. She states, "My interest in physical therapy first peaked in adolescence because my grandfather was a Physical Therapist, then further developed when I was a patient for a knee injury at 19 years old. In 2015, I became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and began working for Fit n Free for 1.5 years, while simultaneously working in home health therapy. I, then, worked as a civilian PTA for the US Navy for 5 years in San Diego. My family and I have returned to the Los Angeles area and am fortunate to return to Fit n Free!'

CHARLENE MCKEE GALLEGOS, Assistant Office Manager & Front Desk


She obtained her Medical Office Assistant education from UEI and has been greeting our patients with her warm smile daily, among her many office duties. She  states, "I joined Fit N Free team in 2014. It has been a great pleasure to meet a variety of patients with different health concerns. Being at the front desk, I see patients come in unsure that PT is a fit for them but 100% of the time after that initial evaluation they come out  motivated. Just seeing our PT/PTAs/and Aides working together to get our patients to meet their goals and strive to live a better life after an injury is such a blessing."  

JULISSA SALDIVAR, Tech/Aide & Front Desk Specialist


Julissa Saldivar finished her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology at Cal Poly Pomona. She states “I enjoy motivating and reaching our patients’ goals to live a healthier and happier lifestyle!”  She has been a dedicated PT Tech for several years at Fit N Free and has helped our patients tremendously. She speaks Spanish fluently and has been so compassionate with our patients all these years.   She is advancing her career and academic goals to become a PT Assistant, and is currently attending the PTA program at Cerritos College. 

SYDNEY ESTRADA, TECH/AIDE


Sydney graduated from the University of La Verne with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. She has been helping our patients at Fit N Free with dedication and compassion.  She is currently working towards getting into Graduate school to obtain her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Sydney states ”I ultimately chose Physical Therapy as a career goal because I have always wanted to work in the medical field since a young age and wanted to be a part of an individual's journey toward rehabilitation and healing.”

CRYSTAL VERA, Tech/Aide


Under the supervision of our Physical Therapists, Crystal has been helping our patients at Fit N Free get more independent with their exercise routines. She is currently attending Asuza Pacific University to obtain her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. And she ultimately wants to become a Physical Therapist someday. She states, “The reason why I choose to be in the physical therapy field is because I have always had an interest in how our bodies function and heal. I think it is a reward in itself to be able to see people recover from the injuries that they have gone through.”
